This Privacy Policy describes how Infinity Flow 3D ("Infinity Flow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use FlowQ, our 3D print farm management software, including the FlowQ web application at flowq.infinityflow3d.com, the FlowQ API, the FlowQ Hub and S1+ devices, the FlowQ Agent software, and any associated integrations (collectively, the "FlowQ Services").
If you are a customer of our Shopify storefront at infinityflow3d.com, the Infinity Flow 3D Privacy Policy applies to those interactions. This FlowQ Privacy Policy applies specifically to your use of the FlowQ Services.
By creating a FlowQ account or using the FlowQ Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to FlowQ account holders, users who connect third-party platforms (such as Etsy or Shopify) to FlowQ, and anyone who interacts with the FlowQ Services on behalf of an account holder. It does not govern data practices of Etsy, Shopify, or other third-party platforms, your printer manufacturer, or other services you choose to integrate. For information on how those parties handle your data, please consult their respective privacy policies.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a FlowQ account, we collect your name, email address, account password (stored as a salted hash; we never store your password in plain text), and your account preferences and settings.
Billing Information
For paid FlowQ subscriptions, billing is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment card information directly. Infinity Flow does not store your full payment card number. We receive limited transaction metadata from Stripe (such as the last 4 digits of your card, subscription status, and invoice history).
Printer Connection Details and Credentials
To connect your 3D printer to FlowQ, you may provide information about the printer and its connection, including the printer's local network address, the printer model and serial number, and printer-side access codes or API keys (for example, a Bambu access code or a Klipper/Moonraker API key). This information is stored encrypted at rest and is used to authenticate FlowQ's tunneled connection to your printer.
WiFi network credentials used to provision an S1+ device or a FlowQ Hub onto your local network are configured directly to those devices over a local connection. WiFi credentials are not transmitted to or stored on FlowQ's servers.
FlowQ API keys (which you can issue from Settings → API for use with Zapier, Make.com, or your own applications) are stored to authenticate API requests against your account. You are responsible for protecting these keys and should treat them like passwords.
Print Files and Print Activity
We collect and store the print files you upload (G-code, project files, and associated slicer metadata), filament profiles and inventory data you configure, print queue contents and history, and printer telemetry transmitted through FlowQ during operation (status, progress, errors, sensor readings). This data is used to operate the print queue and to provide visibility into your fleet.
Camera Streams
If you enable camera streaming for a printer, FlowQ relays the live video stream from your printer through our streaming bridge so you can view it from anywhere. We do not record or store camera streams or still images from your printers for your use of the Services. Streams exist only for the duration of an active viewing session.
If your printers are located in a space where people may incidentally appear on camera, you are responsible for ensuring your use of camera streaming complies with applicable laws (including notice and consent laws in your jurisdiction) and any agreements with employees, contractors, or visitors.
Device and Usage Data
When you access the FlowQ web application or API, we automatically collect standard log information, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and similar diagnostic data.
Data From Connected Integrations
When you connect a third-party platform (such as Etsy or Shopify) to FlowQ, we receive data from that platform on your behalf. The specific data depends on the integration.
Etsy. When you connect your Etsy shop via OAuth, we store your Etsy shop ID, shop name, the OAuth scopes granted, encrypted access and refresh tokens used to call the Etsy API, listing metadata for listings you choose to map (listing ID, product ID, SKU, title, variant title, image URL), and receipt-level processing metadata for orders we process on your behalf (receipt ID, receipt reference number, count of mapped vs. unmapped line items, and which FlowQ print jobs were queued).
We do not store buyer-identifiable information from Etsy orders. FlowQ does not retain buyer names, shipping addresses, email addresses, or the contents of buyer personalization fields. Buyer personalization is only inspected as a yes/no signal so that orders containing personalization can be skipped if you enable that setting.
Shopify. When you connect your Shopify store, we store equivalent information: shop domain, OAuth tokens (encrypted), product variant metadata for variants you map, and order processing metadata. As with Etsy, we do not store Shopify customer names, addresses, or email addresses.
Communications With Us
If you contact us for support or other purposes, we collect the contents of your communication and any details you choose to share.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the FlowQ Services
- Authenticate your account and protect against unauthorized access
- Sync orders from connected platforms and route them to your print queue based on your mappings and settings
- Process subscription payments through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts, security alerts, integration notifications)
- Diagnose technical issues, monitor system health, and improve the FlowQ Services
- Respond to support inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use FlowQ Services data, data from your connected integrations, or information about your customers' orders for advertising or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Data From Etsy and Our Role as a Service Provider
When you connect your Etsy shop to FlowQ, FlowQ acts as a service provider to you, the Etsy seller. We process Etsy Member personal information only to fulfill the services we provide to you under this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and only as authorized by you through your OAuth connection.
We follow the principle of data minimization: we request only the OAuth scopes required to operate the integration, and we persist only the data needed to perform the functions you configure. We do not use Etsy data for any purpose other than providing the FlowQ Services to you.
As required by Etsy's API Terms of Use, we will not:
- Use the Etsy API to send order, shipping, or tracking communications to Etsy buyers
- Use the Etsy API to collect, scan, or otherwise request Etsy content for analytics, machine learning, AI model training, or content licensing
- Cache or retain Etsy content longer than is reasonably necessary to provide the service
- Transfer or commercialize Etsy data to any third party
The same principles apply to data we receive from Shopify and other connected platforms.
How We Share Information
We share information only as described below.
Service providers (subprocessors). We use the following service providers to operate the FlowQ Services:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure (US regions)
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
These providers are contractually obligated to use the information only to provide services to us, and to protect it in accordance with industry standards. We may update our list of subprocessors from time to time and will reflect changes in this policy.
Connected platforms. When you authorize an integration with Etsy, Shopify, or another platform, we exchange information with that platform on your behalf as needed to provide the integration.
Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Infinity Flow, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Infinity Flow is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited subscriber information with ecosystem partners for partner discounts and promotions, as described in "Partner Promotions and Cross-Promotional Sharing" below.
Partner Promotions and Cross-Promotional Sharing
We have business partnerships with companies in the 3D printing ecosystem (for example, filament manufacturers and accessory makers) that offer discounts, promotions, or other benefits to FlowQ subscribers. To make these benefits available, we may share limited information about you with these partners, such as your name, email address, and FlowQ subscription status. The partner uses this information to verify your eligibility for the partner-exclusive offer and to communicate it to you.
Once a partner receives your information, they act as an independent data controller of that information. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.
Partners we currently share information with include Polymaker. We will update this list as partnerships change.
You can opt out of partner sharing at any time by adjusting your preferences in FlowQ Settings or by emailing us at contact@infinityflow3d.com. Opting out removes you from the partner program for the partners listed above, so you will no longer receive partner-exclusive discounts or communications from them.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The FlowQ web application uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, including authentication, session management, and remembering your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies in the FlowQ web application.
Where applicable, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
Aggregated and De-identified Data
We may produce aggregated or de-identified data from information processed through the FlowQ Services (for example, to publish usage statistics or improve the FlowQ Services). Aggregated or de-identified data does not identify you and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
Where Your Data Is Stored
FlowQ data is hosted in the United States on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. If you access FlowQ from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required by applicable law, we use recognized transfer mechanisms (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK transfer mechanisms) for cross-border transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account data. We retain your FlowQ account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, and operational obligations.
Integration data on disconnect. When you disconnect an integration (for example, by disconnecting your Etsy shop in FlowQ), we immediately revoke and delete the stored OAuth access and refresh tokens. Your previously configured listing or variant mappings and historical processing logs are retained so that you can reconnect later without rebuilding your setup. If you want this data fully deleted, contact us at contact@infinityflow3d.com.
Account closure. When you close your FlowQ account, we delete or de-identify the data associated with your account, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Operational logs. Diagnostic and security logs are retained on a rolling basis for system health and security investigation purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of OAuth credentials and printer credentials at rest, encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all FlowQ web and API traffic, role-based access controls limiting which Infinity Flow personnel can access stored data, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach affecting personal information processed through the FlowQ Services, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law. For data accessed via the Etsy API, we will notify Etsy at dpo@etsy.com within 24 hours of discovering a confirmed or suspected breach, as required by the Etsy API Terms of Use.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights with respect to your personal information, including:
- Access to the personal information we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your personal information
- Portability of your data
- Objection to or restriction of certain processing
- Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent
You can exercise most of these rights directly within FlowQ (updating your profile, deleting mappings, disconnecting integrations, or closing your account), or by contacting us at contact@infinityflow3d.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Marketing Communications
We may send you operational emails about your account, billing, security, or important changes to the FlowQ Services. These messages are necessary to provide the Services, and you cannot opt out of them while you maintain an active account. If you receive marketing emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the link in those emails.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The categories of personal information we collect are described in the "Information We Collect" section above. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the FlowQ Services. We may share limited subscriber information (name, email address, and subscription status) with select ecosystem partners so they can offer FlowQ subscribers discounts and promotions, as described in "Partner Promotions and Cross-Promotional Sharing" above. Depending on how California law characterizes this arrangement, it may be treated as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA. You may opt out of this sharing at any time by adjusting your preferences in FlowQ Settings or by emailing contact@infinityflow3d.com. To exercise your other CCPA rights, contact us at the same address.
EU/UK Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal information, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to operate the FlowQ Services for you under our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the FlowQ Services, prevent fraud, communicate with you operationally, and improve the product.
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other regulatory requirements.
- Consent — for any processing that requires consent (you may withdraw consent at any time).
If you have complaints about our processing, you may contact us at contact@infinityflow3d.com or lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. For the EEA, a list of authorities is available at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members.
Children's Privacy
The FlowQ Services are not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Services and Links
The FlowQ Services may contain links to or interact with third-party websites and services (including Etsy, Shopify, and your printer manufacturers' resources). This policy does not apply to those third parties. Please review their privacy policies separately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy here, update the "Last updated" date, and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an email or in-app notification).
