What is a Lead Time?

A lead time is the period between when you place your order and when your order is shipped. Lead times can vary depending on product availability, production schedules, and order volume.

Our Standard Lead Times

  • In-stock items: Usually ship within 2–3 business days.
  • Pre-order or backordered items: Lead times will be shown on the product page. You’ll see the expected shipping timeframe before placing your order.
  • Custom or special orders: May require additional handling time, which will be clearly communicated during checkout.

When to Expect Your Shipment

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. Delivery times will then depend on the shipping carrier and the option you selected at checkout.

Bent Filament Ends Solved

Infinity Flow Filament Cutters on S1 Plus automatic filament reloader

Prevents Print Failures

Filament with bent ends, tape, glue, or tangles can jam the S1 and stop your print. The cutter stops that before it happens by cutting off the bad part automatically.

❌ Clogs

❌ Skipped reloads

❌ Ground or chewed filament

Works With Most 3D Printing Setups

  • Automatic Filament Re-loaders (like the S1)
  • Direct-to-extruder Setups
  • Many AMS/MMU style units

Even without a reloader/AMS, printers with a runout sensor will pause, giving you a chance fix the problem and resume the print.

No Sensors. Just Physics.

🔄 Filament enters the cutter’s tube as it loads into the S1.

⚠️ Bent, taped, glued, or tangled ends gets caught in the inlet tube.

✂️ The tension pulls it down into a hidden blade, which cuts off the bad end before it can jam the S1.

The S1 reloads the next spool and keeps your print running without interruptions.

Saved me $20 in wasted filament after 24 hrs

Such a very simple, and incredibly effective addon to both the S1, but also for any AMS. Even if you dont see many blockages, if you know the pain of having to deal with the end of the filament being too stuck to the spool (those who buy a certain brand will know this pain!) then this kind of auto cut solution could a real game changer.

New Filament Cutters are a HUGE Game Changer

I have these new filament cutters running on 10 S1's connected to my Bambu printers. They provide me the peace of mind to run my print farm 24/7. Knowing they will change over to the next spool as the old one that runs out while I am sleeping has been an exceptional life improvement. Not only do I get more productivity from my printers, but I no longer suffer from a snag as a spool stops at the bend during spool completion. That typically ends up being a large piece I have to throw away because the printer just printed air after that.

If you like running spools one after another and want the peace of mind of doing that while not having to babysit the printer, then you need these.

Saving prints, quick install

I’ve got these on my S1 and they’ve saved so many prints due to tangled filament, sharp corners on the ends, and tape that I’ve got 8 more on the way to do the same for all the rest of my printers that don’t have AMS or S1.

WORKS FLAWLESSLY WITH THE QIDI PLUS 4

I am using the S1 along with two filament cutters on the Qidi Plus 4 and it has been working flawlessly. I highly recommend this product

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of the most common questions we get:

What happens if I use the cutter without a reloader/AMS (directly before my 3D printer extruder)?

When the cutter detects a bent, tangled, or obstructed filament end, it will automatically cut it. After that, the printer will run out of filament and trigger a filament runout pause (as long as your printer has a runout sensor).

This gives you a chance to:

  • Untangle the filament or load a new spool
  • Resume the print manually without damage

Without the cutter, those same tangles or obstructions usually cause the extruder to grind or skip, which often leads to an unrecoverable failed print.

In short: even without a reloader, the cutter gives you a second chance instead of a ruined print.

Is the cutter compatible with 2.85mm filament?

No. The cutter is designed specifically for 1.75mm filament and is not compatible with 2.85mm systems.

Do I need this to use the S1?

No — the S1 works without it. But if you’ve ever had reloads fail due to bent, taped, or tangled filament ends, this cutter will prevent those failures automatically.

What kinds of obstructions will the cutter remove?

The cutter is designed to automatically cut off bent filament ends, taped ends, glue residue, tangled sections, and any other deformities that would jam the S1 inlet. If the obstruction creates enough resistance when entering the tube, it gets cut before it can cause a failure.

Will it cut tangled filament?

Yes — if a tangle creates enough resistance as it feeds in, the cutter will slice off the jammed section before it can reach the S1. It’s designed to stop reloads from failing due to tight coils or crossed lines near the spool end.

How does the cutter know when to cut?

It’s purely mechanical. When a bend or obstructed filament end hits the inlet of the cutter tube, the tension causes it to get sliced off. No sensors, no electronics.

Can I design my own mount for it?

Yes! We provide a fullCustom Mount Design Guide with CAD files and best practices to help you build your own mount fro any setup.

Do the cutters work with the Bambu AMS?

We’re actively designing and testing a dedicated mount to make the cutters compatible with the AMS. Once testing is complete, we’ll release an official AMS-compatible mounting solution.

If you’d rather not wait, you’re welcome to try creating your own using our Custom Mount Design Guide, which includes example CAD files and mounting tips.

We’ll share updates as soon as the official AMS mount is ready.

Can the Filament Cutters be used with other AMS's/MMU's/3D Printers?

Yes — you can adapt it to other printers or AMS-style systems using a custom mount. You can even design your own using our design guidehere.

What is the difference between the new version and the Beta version?

We’ve made several key improvements based on feedback from beta users and testing in real-world print farm setups:

  • Two detent sensitivity optionsYou can now choose between a firmer or softer detent, making it easier to tune the cutter for your specific system and reduce miscuts across a wider range of setups.
  • Spring-assisted cutting mechanismThe new cutter uses a spring-loaded blade to ensure a clean cut every time. This helps prevent situations where a failed cut leads to filament grinding or extruder skipping.
  • More compact designWe reduced the overall size of the unit, making it easier to install in tight spaces — including more AMS systems, dryboxes, and 3D printers.
Are there any deals for people who already bought the Beta Version?

Yes, as a thank you for trying out the cutters before anyone else, customers who purchased the beta version of the filament cutters can use the discount code BETA-UPGRADE to get 50% off when ordering the newest version of filament cutters.
