BETA Version Details:

This is a small beta launch batch. We’ve tested the design for thousands of hours in our own print farm and it’s fully functional. We’re calling it a beta so we can gather feedback and make sure it works just as well for everyone as it does for us. Once this batch sells out, the full release won’t be available for several weeks — so don’t wait!

Prevents Print Failures

Filament cutter installed on 3kg infinity flow S1

Filament with bent ends, tape, glue, or tangles can jam the S1 and stop your print. The cutter stops that before it happens by cutting off the bad part automatically.

Skipped reloads

Ground or chewed filament

No Sensors. No Wiring. Just Physics.

Filament Cutter Working GIF

🔄 Filament enters the cutter’s tube as it loads into the S1.

⚠️ Bent, taped, glued, or tangled ends gets caught in the inlet tube.

✂️ The tension pulls it down into a hidden blade, which cuts off the bad end before it can jam the S1.

The S1 reloads the next spool and keeps your print running without interruptions.

FAQ

What kinds of obstructions will the cutter remove?

The cutter is designed to automatically cut off bent filament ends, taped ends, glue residue, tangled sections, and any other deformities that would jam the S1 inlet. If the obstruction creates enough resistance when entering the tube, it gets cut before it can cause a failure.

Will it cut tangled filament?

Yes — if a tangle creates enough resistance as it feeds in, the cutter will slice off the jammed section before it can reach the S1. It’s designed to stop reloads from failing due to tight coils or crossed lines near the spool end.

How does the cutter know when to cut?

It’s purely mechanical. When a bend or obstructed filament end hits the inlet of the cutter tube, the tension causes it to get sliced off before entering the S1. No sensors, no electronics.

How hard is it to install?

It installs in under 2 minutes with no tools. Just remove the inlet tube, slide the mount on, and reinsert the tube to lock it in place.

Do I need this to use the S1?

No — the S1 works without it. But if you’ve ever had reloads fail due to bent, taped, or tangled filament ends, this cutter will prevent those failures automatically.

Can I use this cutter with other AMS units or 3D printers?

Yes — while it’s designed for the Infinity Flow S1, you can adapt it to other printers or AMS-style systems using a custom mount. Just make sure the inlet tube of the cutter is long enough to reach the obstruction (like a bent or taped filament end). The cutter works by catching the obstruction as it enters the tube and pulling it down into the blade. If the jam happens before reaching the cutter, it won’t trigger the cut.

How many beta sets are available?

Only 100 sets are being released in this beta batch. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — until the full production run.

Why is this a beta version?

The cutter has been tested for over 3,000 hours on our own print farm, but this is the first time it’s being used on customer setups. We’re calling it a beta so we can get early feedback before a full release. It’s fully functional — just not field-tested on every setup yet.
